{"id":34560,"date":"2026-05-26T20:11:45","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T20:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.manabi.gob.ec\/?p=34560"},"modified":"2026-05-26T20:11:45","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T20:11:45","slug":"la-tonga-mas-grande-del-mundo-es-manabita-y-midio-52-metros","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.manabi.gob.ec\/index.php\/la-tonga-mas-grande-del-mundo-es-manabita-y-midio-52-metros\/","title":{"rendered":"La tonga m\u00e1s grande del mundo es manabita y midi\u00f3 52 metros&nbsp;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"p1\">En una haza\u00f1a llena de sabor y tradici\u00f3n, la Tonga m\u00e1s grande del mundo se elabor\u00f3 en La Mitad del Mundo, durante la segunda edici\u00f3n del Festival Manab\u00ed Gastronom\u00eda Milenaria en Quito, impulsado por la Prefectura de Manab\u00ed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Su preparaci\u00f3n estuvo a cargo de los chefs de los restaurantes De Vuelta al campo, Henry Valencia&nbsp; y de El Fog\u00f3n del \u00d1ato, Vicente Cede\u00f1o, que desde las 11:00 iniciaron con la preparaci\u00f3n de este delicioso y tradicional plato manabita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Los estudiantes de gastronom\u00eda de la Universidad UTE tambi\u00e9n formaron parte de esta gran preparaci\u00f3n que fue envuelta en hoja de pl\u00e1tano, con su tradicional gordito de man\u00ed. La preparaci\u00f3n const\u00f3 de gallina criolla y de mariscos llegando a mediar 52 metros, es decir, 2 metros m\u00e1s de lo proyectado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">miles de turistas y comensales como Patricio Caballero se deleitaron al mirar de cerca la preparaci\u00f3n y asegur\u00f3 que la comida manabita destaca por sus sabores y recetas ancestrales. \u00abEs importante que deba mantenerse las tradiciones y recetas que hacen de la comida manabita algo exquisito\u00bb, manifest\u00f3 Caballero, oriundo de Quito.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">El prefecto de Manab\u00ed, Leonardo Orlando, lleg\u00f3 junto a la ciudadan\u00eda, a envolver la tonga y felicit\u00f3 el trabajo de todos quienes participaron de su preparaci\u00f3n, que fue ca\u00edda y limpia para los restaurantes participantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">CONTIN\u00daA EL FESTIVAL&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"p1\">Ma\u00f1ana 24 de mayo, ser\u00e1 el segundo y \u00faltimo d\u00eda de este festival gastron\u00f3mico que ha cautivado propios y extra\u00f1os.
