Esta intervenci\u00f3n busca garantizar el acceso al recurso vital en una de las zonas m\u00e1s afectadas por el d\u00e9ficit h\u00eddrico en el cant\u00f3n Jipijapa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ingeniero Frank Mac\u00edas, t\u00e9cnico de la Direcci\u00f3n de Riego y Recursos H\u00eddricos de la Prefectura, inform\u00f3 que el proyecto contempla la construcci\u00f3n de aproximadamente 20 tapes, un n\u00famero que podr\u00eda incrementarse de acuerdo con las demandas t\u00e9cnicas y las necesidades emergentes de la poblaci\u00f3n rural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abActualmente registramos un 70% de avance en los trabajos sobre el r\u00edo Julcuy. Hemos intervenido con \u00e9xito en sectores estrat\u00e9gicos como las comunidades de San Jos\u00e9 de Las Pi\u00f1as, San Gregorio de Pi\u00f1as, La Pila de Julcuy, Guale de Julcuy, Camino Real y Santa Rita\u00bb, dijo Mac\u00edoas y que adem\u00e1s se trabaja en otros sectores de la cabecera Parroquial de Julcuy, labores que contin\u00faan a ritmo acelerado antes de que la escasez se intensifique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bHumberto Ch\u00f3ez, productor local y uno de los tantos beneficiarios de la obra, expres\u00f3 su profundo agradecimiento por la oportuna intervenci\u00f3n de la instituci\u00f3n: \u00abEsta agua represada nos beneficia a todos por igual: sirve para que nuestros animalitos no mueran de sed, para salvar los cultivos que son nuestro sustento e, incluso, nos ayuda para el consumo humano en los hogares.
